Homegame 2009

Slow Club were really one of my own personal highlights of Homegame ’09. Their performance on Friday evening got the weekend off to a fantastic start for me. Warm, funny, unaffected and infectious, they had the audience wrapped around their little finger from the start. Luckily we got the chance to hang out with them for a bit on Saturday afternoon out on the breakwater while they made contributions to various blogs and websites, and they turned out to be lovely people, too! I didn’t have my SLR (as has been extensively documented), but I got these shots with my little point-and-click instamatic.

Homegame 2009

So this is pretty much all I got from Homegame 2009, a selection from the Friday night’s entertainment. I left my camera switched on overnight on the Friday night and so the battery was flat by Saturday morning. The moral of the story is of course; if you’re daft enough to disable the auto-shutdown feature on your camera, remember to take your charger with you!

Oh well, better luck next year hopefully!
